Very special song clinic w/ the Shopkeeper himself: Mark Hallman! Mark will be in town working with me on pre-production for my new album, so I've recruited him to come to the song clinic. We've focused mostly on lyrics so far, so I thought this was a golden opportunity to offer y'all the chance to benefit from Mark's production expertise and hash out any musical questions you might have about the songs you're working on.
Bring an instrument if you play one and as many songs as you'd like feedback on. We'll get through as many as we can.
The details:
Time: Tuesdays, 7-9 pm
Place: Ojai Pilates & Fitness, 109 N. Montgomery St., Ojai (behind the Chevron).
Cost: $25
Bring: your notes, your instrument, whatever you’ve got - plus a folding chair if you’re not comfy sitting on the floor or the Pilates equipment. A water bottle if you want one, and Fyi we have to take off our shoes in there, so wear attractive socks!
