Cover Song Vote #1
23rd Jul 2014 Posted in: Blog, shopkeeper 10

Hey everyone! Last night I asked on Facebook which cover song folks would like me to sing. Here’s why. I’m about to launch an Indiegogo campaign for The Shopkeeper, my documentary about Mark Hallman and the Congress House. I thought it would be fun to have some stretch goals, which are  incentives that make the campaign better for everyone. When I reach 100 backers, 200 backers, etc., everyone who backs the project gets a bonus without having to pay anything more.

(And btw: you can be one of the backers for only $1.)

I thought recording and releasing exclusive cover songs would be a blast. I will be launching the campaign in about a week. So here’s the scoop. I’m going to cover one of these songs – the one with the most votes by Saturday night – just for fun. And then, if I get 50 backers on Day 1 – at $1 or more – I will record Cover Song #2. Once I reach that goal, I’ll announce the next goal.

So now I need your vote! These are the suggestions I received on Facebook and boy, there were a lot of them – 70! In the comments section, which you reach by clicking the little comment icon above this post, please list your top three choices, in any order. You have until Saturday night to vote – deadline is July 26th.
