SXSW, Day One: After a night of pouring raining and lightning, I got to the convention center WAY early, which was good because the lines got really long. Got my badge and giant bag of swag (containing promo CDs, flyers for showcases, Thayers Slippery Elm Throat Lozenges, condoms, a voodoo doll rubberbanded to a CD of New Orleans music and more, then killed time until Mark Hallman‘s panel discussion on recording, then over to the Hilton to see Pete Townshend interviewed by the great Bill Flanagan.
