Wednesday – went for an early, pre-sweltering-heat, walk down to Town Lake under the Congress Ave. bridge, home of the famous bats. I could hear and smell them, but couldn’t see them. Here’s a picture someone took of the bats emerging at dusk. I really appreciate the bats because I now have twelve mosquito bites.
